6 Reasons why you should use CS Ferrules
  1. Precision - with todays multi-speed shifting systems it is essential that cables and housings remain free of any contaminants. Derailleurs must be able to move precisely to within .5mm repeatedly. Think about how often you shift on your favorite ride.
  2. Contaminants - such as dust and sand mixed with a little water can create the type of mixture that will cause poor shifting and braking in an unsealed system.
  3. Water - capillary action will carry debris into your cable housings and leave it there when the water evaporates. Over time this debris builds-up and creates friction that causes poor shifting. Simply washing your bike after a dusty ride will cause this!
